The Academy will be led by a full-time Founding Executive Director, who will build the overall vision, operation, and mandate of the Academy. The Director will set the strategy, and identify and prioritize core problems in which UM is uniquely positioned to contribute solutions.
The Academy presently comprises an interim Director, an Internal Advisory Group, a Committee on Education, and an External Working Group (click here to see members). As the Academy develops, faculty working on climate resilience projects will be invited to engage in its core activities.
Rodolphe el-Khoury is Dean of the University of Miami School of Architecture.
